Job Description:
As a Principal AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the team for architecting and building enterprise-scale AI solutions that transform how we approach drug discovery, clinical research, and patient care. In the role you will work collaboratively with data scientists, researchers, and software engineers to architect, design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions, addressing a range of business challenges. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining machine learning models, crafting advanced algorithms, and ensuring the scalability and robustness of our AI systems.

Responsibilities:
Lead the evaluation, adoption, and integration of emerging AI technologies and methodologies across the organization
Architect and oversee the development of large-scale, distributed AI systems capable of processing multi-modal biological data

Lead technical reviews, architectural decisions, and code quality standards across AI projects
Translate complex AI concepts into business value propositions for non-technical audiences
Establish partnerships with technology vendors, cloud providers,



and AI research organizations

Requirements:
<>·<>·Proven track record in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare AI applications with measurable business impact
Extensive experience with cloud-native AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML) and containerization technologies
<>•<>•<>•<>•<>•<>•<>•<>•<>•<>•Proficiency in MLOps tools, model monitoring, and automated deployment pipelines
Robust background in statistical methods, experimental design, and causal inference
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing technical teams
Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives and external stakeholders
Proven track record of driving organizational change and technology adoption
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements for AI in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries (FDA, EMA guidelines)
Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
Experience with Dataiku, Databricks, AWS Sage maker, Google Vertex AI
Experience with OpenAI and other Generative AI Models
Knowledge of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
