Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design, architecture, and evolution of enterprise-scale data warehousing solutions. This role will be responsible for defining end-to-end data architecture, guiding engineering teams, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms that support analytics and decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern data warehouse architectures, cloud-based data platforms, and enterprise data integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and define the overall Data Warehouse and Data Platform architecture , including conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Design, implement, and govern enterprise data warehouse (EDW), data lake, and lakehouse architectures to support structured and semi-structured data.
• Lead the architecture and integration of data from SaaS, on-prem, and third-party sources , including metadata management and data lineage.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and architectural blueprints.
• Establish data modelling standards , best practices, and architectural guidelines across the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight to data engineering teams, including design reviews and performance optimization.
• Define and drive ETL / ELT strategies , data ingestion patterns, and orchestration frameworks.
• Architect and oversee cloud-based data platforms with a strong focus on Azure (Fabric, Data Lake, Data Factory,



Synapse or equivalent).
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance, compliance, and data quality standards .
• Guide DevOps and CI/CD strategies for data platforms, including automation, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to the enterprise data architecture.

Required Experience & Skills
• 15+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and enterprise data architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data warehouse and analytics platforms .
• Solid expertise in data modeling techniques (dimensional, normalized, hybrid, and lakehouse models).
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure data services such as Azure Fabric, Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, and related analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks , metadata management, and data governance.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and analytical databases.
• Experience working with JSON, XML, RESTful APIs , and semi-structured data sources.
• Solid knowledge of microservices-based architectures and distributed data systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines , DevOps practices, and automated deployment for data platforms (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to architectural detail.
