Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our SAP team. The SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning of SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and system integrity. This includes supporting SAP ECC, and related technologies in a multi-environment landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ERP, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.)
Participate in system upgrades, migrations (e.g., ECC to any other tool), and projects.
Perform daily system monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning.
Manage SAP transports and CTS+.
Handle user administration, roles, and authorizations.
Perform system copies, client copies, and refreshes.
Apply SAP kernel upgrades, patches, and Support Packages (SPs).
Manage backup and recovery strategies and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
End to end Troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to SAP systems.
Work with cross-functional teams for integration and technical support.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations are in place.

The mandatory skills(Please check before applying)
Valuable experience in ECC is mandatory




Migration from ECC to S/4 Hana is not important. Even S/4 Hana is also not mandatory but if some basic knowledge is there, then fine. It has been removed from most locations in the JD below.
Migration from ECC to any other tool is good to have though not mandatory.
End to End troubleshooting experience is mandatory.
Strong comm skills are still mandatory

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Min 4-7 years of SAP Basis administration experience (or as specified).
Strong experience with SAP ECC , S/4HANA basic knowledge is fine, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
Small experience with HANA DB administration and performance tuning.
Experience with OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database (Oracle, HANA, SQL) environments.
Knowledge of SAP system security, transport management, and SAP OSS .
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in SAP Basis.
Exposure to DevOps tools and automation in SAP environment.
Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., SAP EarlyWatch, Solution Manager, etc.)
Knowledge on GRC, IAG is plus
