Position Title: Assistant Manager - New Product Development
Location: For Foundry near Pollachi
Reports To: AGM - New Product Development

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
DME / BE Mechanical Engineering with min 10-20+ years of experience preferably in SG and Grey Iron Foundry.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for new product development
Responsible for preparing FR inputs for enquires from customer in a cost effective manner
Interact with design team for simulation study, process design and pattern layout for Furan, Hunter & Sinto lines
Drive APQP process in all stages
Design documents prepare and review with CFT
Execute pattern manufacturing, Makino load planning, pattern mounting, methoding & sample pouring
Getting sample casting approval from QAD for NDT, dimension & Lab as per customer specification
Work with machine shop effective & timely machining for NPD parts
Fool proofing system implementing, Continuous improvement, reduction of rejection,



productivity increase.
Handover the new parts to production in a smooth way
Departmental objectives achieving
APQP & PPAP Documentation preparation
MRM-PPT for department objectives
Effective safety practices and positive housekeeping to achieve zero accident in department.
Implementation of TPM, 5S and Safety practices in Production.
