Designation: Associate Dean – Architecture

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is hiring a Associate Dean – Architecture to provide academic leadership, drive research and design excellence, and strengthen industry and professional engagement.

About the Role
This is a senior academic position for an accomplished architecture professional with strong teaching, research, and leadership credentials. The role involves leading UG/PG/PhD programs, mentoring faculty and students, and contributing to accreditation, rankings, and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver Architecture programs at UG, PG, and PhD levels




Drive curriculum development aligned with COA, UGC, and global standards
Mentor faculty and supervise doctoral research
Maintain an active design and/or research portfolio
Build industry partnerships, consultancy, and live projects
Represent LPU with COA, IIA, and design councils
Contribute to NAAC, NIRF, accreditation, and academic governance

Required Qualifications
PhD in Architecture (Mandatory)
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture
Minimum 15 years of academic and/or professional experience (as per COA/UGC norms)
Proven academic leadership and research supervision experience
Strong industry exposure and professional practice orientation
Active engagement with COA, IIA, or allied professional bodies
