Job Description of L2 Voice Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 support for Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Session Manager, and
related voice platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents related to voice infrastructure, SIP trunks,
call routing, and QoS issues.
• Manage and maintain Verint call recording systems, including configuration, upgrades,
and troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring voice issues and implement preventive
measures.
• Collaborate with L1 team for ticket escalations and provide guidance/documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software issues and patch management.
• Ensure compliance with voice security standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in voice infrastructure projects, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and incident resolution.
