Requirement 1: Modem Testing

Exp: 2 to 5 yrs
Skill: Android Upgrade testing , Modem ; Good to have Wifi, Bluetooth.
Notice: immediate to 30 days

JD for Modem Testing on Android devices

QA Engineer – Modem / Networking Testing, Battery Performance / Power & Google Compliance
Experience in modem, telephony, data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth testing on Android devices.
Hands-on with tools like QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark , etc.
Experience in battery/power drain, performance, and thermal testing.
Strong in log analysis, issue triage, and Android device validation.
Positive exposure to Google certification (CTS, GTS, ATS) and failure analysis.
Good knowledge of ADB, system logs, and reporting.

Requirement 2: Android testing – Multimedia and Connectivity in Devices side (Don’t share Automotive domain profiles)

Exp: 4 to 6 yrs

• Lead functional, regression & performance testing for Audio/Video/Camera .
• Validate playback, recording, codecs, media framework,



and camera pipelines.
• Analyze logs (logcat, dmesg, media logs, tombstones) and perform RCA.
• Drive test coverage, automation (Python/ADB), and CI execution.
• Coordinate with global teams and mentor junior testers.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on with Android Multimedia Framework, Camera HAL3, Audio/Video codecs.
• Strong debugging using ADB, logcat, kernel logs.
• 4yrs years in multimedia/system testing; excellent communication skills.

Requirement 3:: Android with kernel and driver , Audio

Overall Modem Protocol (Physical Layer, MAC Layer, RLC, PDCP, SDAP - 5G, RRC, NAS). IMS/SIP, VoLTE /ViLTE/ VoWiFi. Modem system level debugging

{{ We are looking for UE side work experience. You can filter out gNodeb / gNB / ORAN profiles which are NW side experience and Should not be considered for MMI OSU JD.
Also profiles with IMS / VoLTE / VoNR / NAS, RRC, RLC Layer / RIL / UE side log analysis / Any other Mobile device manufacturer work experience can be considered.
Layer specific work experience we are filtering out since we have seen earlier that they could not cope with MMI work environment [Recent experienced candidate's ramp-down].
Profiles having other Mobile OEM Modem development with QCOM and MTK based products work experience would be the best fit.
