Role Overview - TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER | KOCHI Location

Softobiz Technologies is seeking a Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) with a strong hands-on technical background in .NET Core and/or Node.js to lead complex enterprise and cloud-native projects. This role goes beyond traditional project management and requires deep technical understanding , strong RAID ownership , client-facing communication , and financial/milestone control .
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between architecture, engineering, and stakeholders , ensuring predictable delivery, cost control, and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise projects across .NET Core, Node.js, React/Angular, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
Drive project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting across multiple workstreams
Define and manage project milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines
Ensure delivery aligns with SOW, scope, budget, and quality expectations
Technical Leadership
Review and understand solution architecture, API designs, data flows, and integration patterns
Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Tech Leads on design decisions
Challenge and validate technical estimates, risks, and assumptions
Support teams on technical trade-offs, feasibility, and scalability considerations
RAID & Risk Management
Proactively identify and manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
Maintain and present RAID logs with clear mitigation and ownership
Anticipate delivery, integration, and resourcing risks early and drive resolution
Escalate risks with data-backed impact analysis
Financials, Costing & Milestones
Own project costing, effort estimation, and budget tracking
Define milestone-based billing plans and delivery checkpoints
Track burn, variance,



and forecast to ensure financial discipline
Support commercial discussions, change requests, and scope adjustments
Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as the primary client-facing delivery owner
Prepare and present executive-level PPTs (SteerCo decks, status reports, roadmaps)
Lead weekly/monthly governance calls , status reviews, and planning workshops
Translate technical complexity into clear business-level communication
Team & Process Management
Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps, UI/UX)
Drive Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models
Ensure adherence to SDLC, quality, and delivery best practices
Support performance tracking, capacity planning, and dependency management.

Required Skills & Experience
Core Requirements
10–15+ years of experience in software delivery with strong technical exposure
Hands-on background in: .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and/or Node.js
REST APIs, microservices, and backend systems
Strong understanding of:
SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
Cloud platforms ( Azure and/or AWS )
CI/CD, DevOps, and contemporary deployment practices
Project Management Expertise
Proven experience managing large, complex, enterprise-scale projects
Deep experience in RAID management
Strong expertise in project costing, budgeting, and milestone planning
Excellent skills in PowerPoint (PPT) and executive reporting
Certifications (Preferred)
PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Agile certifications – highly preferred
Cloud or technical certifications are a plus
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and decision-making skills




Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels
High ownership, accountability, and delivery mindset
Nice to Have
Experience working with global clients
Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or enterprise ERP/CRM systems
Experience managing multi-project portfolios
