Main Purpose:
Ensure adherence to statutory and quality requirements, as well as industry best practices, for marine offshore operations.
Provide marine operations and assurance support for offshore project construction, drilling, and FPSO operations.

Job Accountabilities:
Optimisation and standardisation of marine requirements for offshore activities with respect to specifications for future needs.
Plan and carry out vetting and performance reviews of OSVs through regular inspections and audits.
Plan chartering requirements and ensure that all chartered OSVs comply with statutory requirements and international guidelines.
Review marine accidents, incidents, and near misses related to offshore activities, and provide corrective and preventive actions.




Carry out risk assessments and hazard evaluations for all marine offshore activities.
Monitor vessel operations and conduct contractor performance reviews.
Provide marine support to the shore base for marine offshore activities.

Qualification:
Minimum: Marine qualified qualification – Certificate of Competency (CoC) as 2nd Engineer Officer.
Desirable: Qualification and/or experience in marine operations or assurance, chartering, and logistics.

Experience:
Minimum 8 years of sailing experience onboard vessels as an officer.
Minimum 2 years of experience in marine operations or assurance for offshore activities at shore.
