key Responsibilities
Sales planning and execution
Monitor movement of Manufactured/Traded products
Co-ordinating with RBM & TBM to facilitate achievement of sales
To maintain and provide all data on MIS on all sales, collections, costs, etc as per request
Channel management
Facilitating the process of replacement of defective material
Monitor handling of transportation work contracts, renewals, verification of bills etc.
Query handling
Warehouse management
Monitor and co-ordinate all activities related to warehouse management and inventory control such as, participation in identification and selection of warehouse agents, periodic inspection of warehouses to check for stock and space utilisation and control and monitor warehousing expenses.
Logistics co-ordination
Supervise and co-ordinate freight management activities like obtaining transportation rates, co-ordination and payment to transporters, availability of bags, material and supervision at ports.
Statutory compliance
Co-ordinate all insurance activities related to monthly declaration of stocks, liaising with surveyors and settlement of claims.
Documentation / routine work for subsidy related activities
KEY INTERACTIONS
Financial responsibility
Vendor account reconciliation and necessary corrections
Monthly reviews of cost, collections, inventories, creditor & debtor control
Administrative Responsibility
Engaged in all activities related to office expense handling,
bill clearing etc
Fulfilling all requirements for statutory requirements.
Internal
External
Accounts department for release of payments and adjustments against payments
Concerned Business Managers for timely supply of material
Legal cell, for matters relating to customer complaints and / or contracting issues
Administration department for co-ordination and facilities
All commercial officers in SMOs / DMOs on issues related to the business plan, timely delivery of quality material through vendors and complaint handling.
Vendors for timely and quality supply of material
Warehousing agents for bagging, handling and forwarding of material to the various locations, management of various warehouses and inventory control
Junior Level Govt Employees for various statutory compliances
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
(Special technical skills & knowledge needed for the satisfactory performance of the job)
Educational Qualifications
Minimum B.Com, M.Com, MBA, CA required.
4-8 years in the commercial function will be given preference
Technical Skills
Knowledge of SAP Functioning – S&D; Module
Knowledge of Excel
Material management
Warehousing and inventory management
Knowledge of all statutory compliances
Knowledge of processes and policies
