Toolroom Engineer
Location: Vapi, Gujarat
Experience: 2–8 Years
CTC: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 (based on experience)
Job Description
We are hiring a Toolroom Engineer responsible for toolroom planning, job tracking, inspection, vendor coordination, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily toolroom job records and machine reports
Prepare job cards for tool elements based on design profiles
Plan and decide machining sequence and process flow
Prepare Gantt charts for recent mold development
Inspect jobs and measure dimensions as required
Coordinate mold maintenance and manage spare parts
Guide machine operators/programmers on critical dimensions and finishes
Follow up with suppliers for quotations, job completion, and material delivery
Visit vendor sites to monitor outsourced jobs
Maintain complete documentation for audits
Update weekly, monthly, and quarterly toolroom machine plans
Skills Required

MS Office
Process planning
Report making
Machining strategy
Secondary (Good to Have):
Measurement & inspection knowledge
Heat treatment process understanding
Tertiary (Nice to Have):
Vendor coordination
Education Preferred
NTTF / CIPET / CTTC
Tool & Die Making / Plastic Tool Engineering
