Job Summary:
The Sales Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery and governance of structured training programs across all sales-related functions. The role focuses on strengthening sales capability, productivity, compliance and customer engagement by equipping internal Sales, CRM and Marketing teams, as well as Channel Partners, with strong project knowledge, process clarity and effective selling skills. This includes regular training on project overviews and value propositions to ensure consistent communication, improved conversion outcomes and alignment with the organization’s sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Capability & Skill Development
Design and deliver structured and continuous learning programs for sales teams across levels and as well as for Channel Partners.
Build consultative selling, negotiation, objection handling and closing capabilities.
Ensure uniform understanding of product offerings, pricing structures, schemes and customer segments.
Act as the single point of accountability for internal sales training initiatives.
Sales Process, Compliance & Governance Training
Train teams on sales SOPs, documentation standards, CRM usage and approval workflows.
Reinforce adherence to RERA norms, ethical selling practices and internal governance frameworks.
Drive discipline in process compliance and quality of customer interactions.
Training Strategy & Content Governance
Develop and maintain standardized training modules, playbooks,
scripts and reference materials.
Customize content for project launches, portfolio mix and evolving market conditions.
Keep training content updated in line with regulatory, product and pricing changes.
Performance Enablement & Impact Measurement
Assess training effectiveness through productivity, conversion ratios and quality metrics.
Identify capability gaps and design targeted interventions to improve performance.
Align training initiatives closely with sales Managerership priorities and business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
Work closely with Sales, CRM, Marketing and Project teams as well the Channel Partners to ensure consistency of messaging.
Act as the central point of coordination for Channel Partner training initiatives.
Support new launches, campaigns and schemes through focused and timely training programs.
Qualifications
Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales, Marketing or HR preferred).
5+ years of experience in real estate sales, sales enablement or sales training.
Prior experience in training frontline sales teams in a structured, performance-driven environment.
Strong exposure to CRM systems, sales processes and regulatory frameworks.
Key Skills
Robust understanding of real estate sales and customer buying behavior.
Proven expertise in sales training, coaching and adult learning methodologies.
Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
High process orientation with focus on compliance and governance.
Ability to translate business strategy into actionable training programs.
