Role Summary:
Rajasthan Patrika is seeking an experienced Government Head – Print to lead and expand government advertising revenue from central and state government departments, PSUs, and public sector bodies . The role requires solid exposure to DAVP/Bureau of Outreach & Communication (BOC) norms and government media processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Key contacts with top secretaries, bureaucracy, ministries
Worked on special initiatives, innovative revenue strategies in govt
Head government advertising (Print) business for Delhi and assigned markets
Drive revenue from Central Ministries, State Governments, PSUs, and Autonomous Bodies
Manage empanelment and compliance with DAVP/BOC guidelines and policies
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and media agencies
Plan and execute annual government sales strategies and revenue targets




Coordinate with internal teams for ad releases, scheduling, billing, and collections
Ensure timely submission of documents, release orders, and government billing
Track policy changes, tenders, and new government advertising opportunities
Lead and mentor the government sales team
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong experience in Government Print Advertising Sales
In-depth knowledge of DAVP/BOC norms, rates, and procedures
Excellent relationship management with government stakeholders
Strong negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills
High level of compliance and documentation accuracy
Qualification:
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
