Job Title: Solar Site Engineer – Rooftop Projects
Location: Pan-India (Extensive Travel Required)
Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Job Summary
We are looking for a Solar Site Engineer with hands-on experience in rooftop solar projects. The role involves managing end-to-end site execution for commercial and industrial rooftop installations across India, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. Pan-India travel is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise installation and commissioning of rooftop solar PV projects (industrial and commercial)
* Manage day-to-day site activities including mounting structures, module installation, DC and AC works
* Ensure proper installation on RCC / metal sheet roofs as per approved drawings
* Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, and client representatives at site
* Ensure adherence to approved layouts, BOQ, and technical specifications
* Monitor project schedules, manpower, and material consumption
* Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, and safety compliance at site
* Handle site-level technical issues and support testing and commissioning
* Prepare daily and weekly progress reports with photographs
* Coordinate with project managers, design, and procurement teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy
* Minimum 2 years of experience in rooftop solar project execution
* Robust understanding of rooftop structures, load considerations, and fixing methods
* Experience in DC cabling, AC cabling, inverter installation, and earthing
* Ability to read rooftop layouts, SLDs, and GA drawings
* Willingness to travel Pan-India extensively
* Good communication and client-handling skills
* Knowledge of rooftop safety practices including work-at-height norms
Preferred Skills
* Experience in commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects
* Familiarity with net-metering, shutdown procedures, and DISCOM coordination
* Experience working on multiple sites simultaneously
