Job Description

The Information Technology Compliance ITC analyst provides technical and strategic support for the development and management of tools, technologies, processes, and strategies that support the management and optimization of ATSVs Compliance portfolio. This includes knowledge and understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies to review and assure compliance. Individuals in this position will liaison with other organizations to consult, assess, provide advanced statistical analysis, escalate, and report on compliance related data. Information Technology Compliance ITC analyst applies knowledge and skill of business and technology for managing overall data protection strategies through the development,

implementation and administration of governance programs that ensure and address compliance, and provide security governance related solutions to protect our stakeholders and their information.Information Technology Compliance ITC Cons II applies knowledge and skill of business and technology risks through effective general IT control strategies designed to protect Allstate assets and customer and employee data. ITC is responsible for managing overall data and information protection strategies through the development, implementation and administration of IT Governance programs that ensure and address compliance related solutions to protect our stakeholders and their information..

Job Responsibilities

Conduct business impact and/or risk assessment analysis both inside and outside the company and assist with recommendations and/or mitigation strategies to management.

Review of routine changes in company processes, standards and technology to ensure the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.

Assist with isolating, describing and resolving both real and potential threats that affect Allstate's assets.

Implement programs to assess, prevent and mitigate risk.

Develop and implement systems and business control procedures, programs and plans for key areas of the company.

Plan and monitor systems and business exercising and testing for controls and compliance. Exercise and test the control procedures and strategies for different functional areas.

Contribute to developing, implementing and administering standards and procedures to secure and protect Allstate assets.

Participate in initiatives to ensure that controls and processes are operating effectively.

Assist in coordinating and communicating between the business and technology areas for general requests associated with standards and governing policies and procedures.

Assist in providing support to stakeholders on requirements for new and existing business / technology solutions to assure compliance to standards and governing policies and procedures.

Assist in the administration, maintenance, development and/or implementation of technology solutions, plans, policies and/or procedures in support of ensuring compliance to standards and governing policies and procedures.

Risk Management - 2

Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate risk management of moderate difficulty for a small functional area. Capable of conducting risk analysis as part of a project including determining risk factors, probability, impact, early detection and prevention. Able to prepare contingency plans and alternatives.

Security Knowledge - 2

Has detailed knowledge of the functionality of security systems and understandssho w they work and interface with data, applications and systems. Able to explain and document the functionality of security requirements andsho w they relate to the business and an information security program.
