1.Using your knowledge of the market and contacts in the industry, identify and develop new customers and new external selling partners.
2.Develop, drive, manage and support external selling partners as necessary. This would include providing training and sales support.
3.Act as marketer/business developer/salesperson of DataFirst for example at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings.
4.Manage all direct and external-channel leads and opportunities and ensure that all data is kept up-to-date. Produce projections based on intimate knowledge of customers demand.
5.Chart out and monitor sales proposals and tenders e.g. quantity, margin, product/system, and follow up statistics concerning sales proposals.
6.Meet annual sales targets, both for numbers of new opportunities and overall revenue.
7.Run the negotiations with customers over content, price and Terms & Conditions.
8.Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
9.Ensure that payments from the customer are received in accordance with the terms of the contract in order to avoid past due notices.
10.Ensure that the sales proposals submitted are followed up and that agreements are signed when appropriate, and that they are in accordance with established requirements.
11.Ensure that agreements which have been entered into are compliant-with and that deliveries of products goods and services are implemented on time at the agreed upon cost
