Bharat Intelligence is building a platform to organise agricultural labour— matching farmers with verified workers and executing farm work predictably at scale.
Nashik is our most critical district: high-value crops, extreme labour volatility, and massive execution complexity. This role owns that reality end-to-end.
Role Overview
The City CEO (Nashik) is the single-threaded owner of the district . You will run Nashik like a city GM at a high-growth marketplace:
- Own supply (labour sourcing, activation, retention)
- Own execution (allocation, clustering, daily ops)
- Own demand (farmer relationships, conversions, fulfilment quality)
Your mandate is simple but hard: Ensure the right labour reaches the right farm, at the right time, at the right price—every day.
Key Responsibilities
1. Labour Supply Ownership (Supply Side)
You will fully own labour operations in Nashik:
- Build and manage local + migrant labour sourcing pipelines
- Lead sourcing teams across villages, corridors, and clusters
- Ensure labour onboarding: verification, negotiation of rates, expectations-setting
- Activate new labourers to their first successful job
- Drive labour retention, repeat utilisation, and productivity
Outcome: Reliable, reliable, district-level labour capacity—no last-minute scrambling.
2. Allocation & Execution (Marketplace Core)
You will run the engine that makes the marketplace work:
- Manage allocation teams assigning right skill → right farm → right cluster
- Design and operate micro-clusters for efficient deployment
- Ensure daily execution quality, attendance,
discipline, and issue resolution
- Handle on-ground firefighting when things break (they will)
- Own coordination between sourcing, allocation, and farmer-facing teams
Outcome: High fulfilment rates, minimal chaos, predictable execution.
3. Farmer Demand & Relationship Management (Demand Side)
You will oversee the demand engine in Nashik:
- Manage farmer-facing teams (sales + ops)
- Own farmer conversations from booking → execution → post-job feedback
- Ensure pricing discipline, expectation alignment, and trust
- Personally handle key farmers, escalations, and strategic accounts
- Drive repeat usage and word-of-mouth growth
Outcome: Farmers trust Bharat Intelligence as their default labour partner.
4. Team Leadership & District Ops
- Build, manage, and mentor multi-layered on-ground teams
- Set daily/weekly KPIs for sourcing, allocation, and demand
- Enforce SOPs while improving them based on ground reality
- Act as the final decision-maker for Nashik ops
- Report directly to central leadership with clarity and accountability
Outcome: Nashik runs as a disciplined, scalable operation—not a hustle.
Who We’re Looking For Must-Haves
- Strong Nashik local knowledge (villages,
labour belts, farmer dynamics)
- 5+ years of hardcore operations experience
- Proven track record running city/district-level operations
- Experience in marketplace or high-frequency ops environments
- Comfortable managing blue-collar workforces and on-ground chaos
- High ownership mindset—no excuses, no hand-holding
Preferred Backgrounds
- City Ops / Cluster Ops roles at food delivery, logistics, or commerce platforms
- Former district or city managers from gig / hyperlocal marketplaces
- People who’ve scaled ops under pressure, not just managed dashboards
- Deep understanding of horticulture value chains

- Can negotiate, enforce, and still build trust
- Thinks in systems but acts fast
