Job Purpose:

Lead gasification pilot plant design and operational efforts, with a strong focus on gasification and syngas-to-chemicals processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the process design of the pilot plant and scale-up activities for gasification and downstream chemical processes.
- Develop and review process design documents such as PFDs, P&IDs;, process data sheets, and process control philosophy for gasification and syngas-to-chemicals plants.
- Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Participate in pilot plant commissioning, operations, and analysis of pilot data.
- Interpret pilot data and integrate it into process models to improve model accuracy.
- Optimize process parameters and support design and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.





Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in pilot plant operations, R&D;, or process development in the area of gasification and other chemical processes.
- Experience with gasification, hydrogen/SNG production, CO2 capture and storage, or related technologies is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of process simulation software such as Aspen Plus will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and field-integrated setting
