We are present across large enterprises and startups including well known unicorns alike. We strive to take payments beyond an enabler and an instrument to drive revenue and user growth for our merchants. Online Payment Gateway is Paytm’s B2B Business regulated by RBI as it allows only authorized entities to conduct PA PG (Payment Aggregator Payment Gateway) business. This team is responsible for growing the penetration of Paytm’s PA PG business in the Indian merchants.

About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM)



to manage and grow relationships with enterprise merchants. The role focuses on driving adoption of payment solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, and maximizing revenue opportunities for the assigned accounts. It also involves cross sell of other products related to this business.

Key Responsibilities -
Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise merchants for Paytm’s payment gateway and payment solutions.
Develop and execute strategic hunting plans to penetrate high-value merchant segments across e-commerce, digital platforms, and large enterprises.
Build relationships with CXOs, founders, and senior decision-makers to drive new partnerships.
Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles , including solution pitching, commercial negotiations, contracting, and onboarding.
Drive adoption of Paytm payment solutions including UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, Payment Gateway, and BNPL.
Collaborate with product, technology, and operations teams to design customized payment solutions for large merchants.
Track market trends, merchant needs, and competitive positioning to strengthen Paytm’s merchant acquisition strategy.
Build and maintain a solid sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed revenue and merchant acquisition targets.




Work closely with onboarding and account management teams to ensure smooth merchant activation and early transaction growth .
Deliver on new merchant acquisition targets, revenue growth, and payment volume KPIs .

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field .
5+ years of experience in enterprise sales / merchant acquisition / business development within Payments, Fintech, or BFSI .
Strong track record in hunting roles involving recent client acquisition and revenue generation .
Experience selling payment gateway, acquiring, or fintech solutions to large merchants.
Proven ability to build CXO-level relationships and close high-value enterprise deals .
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills .
Ability to analyze market opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies for merchant acquisition.

Location - Noida, Mumbai or Bangalore
