1. Area Manager – School Franchise Sales
Location: Kolkata (Covering South & North Bengal)
Reporting to: Head of Partnerships / Director – Group Schools
Position Summary:
The Area Manager is responsible for the strategic expansion of Techno India Group Schools. This role involves identifying high-potential investors, negotiating large-scale franchise agreements, and ensuring the brand’s footprint grows consistently across West Bengal’s diverse districts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Expansion: Lead the end-to-end franchise acquisition process for K-12 and Play Schools in assigned territories (Kolkata, Siliguri, Asansol, Malda, etc.).
- Investor Relations: Identify, vet, and pitch to high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and corporate partners who align with TIG’s educational vision.
- Market Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and "catchment area" analysis to determine the viability of new school locations.
- Sales Lifecycle Management: From lead generation and site visits to signing the Franchise Agreement and collecting initial franchise fees.
- Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual franchise sign-up targets to ensure the group’s growth KPIs are met.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the investor and TIG’s legal, academic, and infrastructure teams during the pre-operational phase.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5–8 years in Franchise Sales (Education sector experience is highly preferred).
- Education: MBA in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Skills: Expertise in B2B sales, contract negotiation, and financial modeling (ROI projections for partners).
- Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of the socio-economic landscape of West Bengal.
2. Executive – School Franchise Development & Operations
Location: Regional (South Bengal / North Bengal Focus)
Reporting to: Area Manager / Franchise Head
Position Summary:
The Executive role is a hybrid of sales support and operational hand-holding. This individual ensures that once a franchise is signed, the school is set up for success, follows TIG’s SOPs, and maintains high enrollment numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Support the Area Manager by managing the CRM, following up with prospects, and organizing discovery days/seminars.
- Onboarding & Set-up: Assist current franchisees in the "Pre-Launch" phase, including site selection guidance, interior branding, and recruitment of initial staff.
- Operational Compliance: Conduct regular audits of franchise schools to ensure adherence to Techno India Group’s academic standards and administrative policies.
- Admission Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to design local area marketing (LAM) plans for franchisees to drive student admissions.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for franchisees, resolving grievances and providing technical/operational support.
- Collateral Management: Ensure all business collaterals, brochures, and digital assets are updated and utilized correctly by regional partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2–4 years in Business Development or Operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Management or Education background preferred).
- Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint/Canva), and a "customer-first" mindset.
- Travel: High willingness to travel across North and South Bengal for site inspections and partner meetings.
