About SpatialChat At SpatialChat, we build immersive virtual environments for events, collaboration, and online education, bringing back the human layer missing from traditional video calls. Our platform powers virtual conferences, networking events, career fairs, and community experiences for B2B customers globally.
Alongside SpatialChat, we operate Teemyco (virtual offices & async collaboration) and Pensil (community platform). This role will work across all three brands, shaping how we communicate, position, and scale our presence globally.
Role Overview As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, managing datasets, and generating insights that drive business and product decisions. This is a hands-on role focused on working with data pipelines, structuring databases, and translating raw data into clear, actionable insights for leadership, marketing, and sales teams.
You will work closely with the product, GTM, and engineering teams to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and visibility into key performance metrics.
Responsibilities Data Management & Structuring
Work with large datasets to clean, organize, and structure data for analysis
Maintain and manage databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability
Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data flow across systems
Dashboarding & Reporting
Create and maintain dashboards for business, product, and GTM metrics
Build reports to track KPIs such as user engagement, conversion, revenue, and campaign performance
Ensure real-time or near real-time visibility for key stakeholders
Analytics & Insights
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities
Translate data into actionable insights for product, marketing, and sales teams
Support decision-making with data-backed recommendations
Tracking & Instrumentation
Work with teams to define and implement tracking for product and marketing events
Ensure proper data capture across tools (website, product, campaigns)
Identify gaps in tracking and fix inconsistencies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product, GTM, and leadership teams to understand data needs
Support teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
Align dashboards and metrics with business goals
What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or similar roles
Strong experience working with datasets, databases, and data cleaning
Proven ability to build dashboards and reports for business teams
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights
Close attention to detail and data accuracy
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced startup environment
Technical Skills Required
Data & Querying:
SQL (mandatory)
Strong experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
Dashboarding & Visualization:
Tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
Building automated dashboards and reports
Analytics & Tracking:
Google Analytics (GA4)
Google Tag Manager (preferred)
Event tracking and data validation
Tools & Workflow:
Excel / Google Sheets (advanced level)
Basic Python (optional but preferred for data manipulation)
Core Capabilities:
Data cleaning and transformation
Dashboard creation and KPI tracking
Data interpretation and insight generation
Understanding of business and product metrics
