Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Purview to join us on a freelance/contract basis .

n

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on data engineering professional who can design and implement scalable cloud solutions, build enterprise-grade data platforms, and drive strong data governance practices.

n

Key Responsibilities

n
Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud solutions on AWS
Build enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric including lakehouse, analytics, and pipelines




Implement data governance, cataloging, and compliance solutions using Microsoft Purview
Define architecture standards, best practices, and scalable design patterns
Mentor engineers and ensure delivery of secure, high-quality code
Collaborate with business teams, architects, and data stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions
Support CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices

Required Skills

n
6+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Cloud Engineering
Robust hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation
Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric
Microsoft Purview experience is mandatory
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and .NET
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code
Strong understanding of scalable architecture, governance, and secure engineering practices.
