Az-Tec Talent is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a contract engagement with one of our consultancy clients, supporting a global logistics end customer. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in up-to-date data platforms, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing, with a particular focus on Snowflake.

We are looking for a highly experienced engineer (7+ years) who can contribute from day one and work across a contemporary Azure-based data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

n
Design, build, and optimise data pipelines and data processing frameworks
Work with Snowflake for data warehousing and performance optimisation
Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions




Work with streaming and batch data processing technologies
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines

n

Required Experience & Skills

n
7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Snowflake Advanced Certification (mandatory)
Strong experience with:
Kafka
Python
Apache Spark
SQL
Databricks
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Microsoft Azure ecosystem
Understanding of XML and JSON data structures
Basic knowledge of Scala

Must be based in India
Available to start immediately
Comfortable working in a contract role within budget constraints

Contract Details

n
Daily rate: $75–$80 per day
Opportunity to work on up-to-date cloud and data technologies
