Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lactation Consultant based in New Delhi. The Lactation Consultant will provide guidance and support for breastfeeding, including assessing and addressing lactation difficulties. The role will involve working closely with new mothers, offering education and developing tailored plans for optimal maternal and infant health outcomes. In addition,
the consultant will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver holistic care services.

Qualifications

- Professional certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor or equivalent credentials
- Expertise in lactation support, including breastfeeding techniques and addressing related challenges
- Knowledge and experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and Maternal-Child Health
- Foundational understanding of Medicine related to maternal and newborn care
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience with patient education and counseling is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant healthcare discipline is preferred
