Job Title: General Manager – Finance, Accounts, Reporting & Consolidation

Role Overview The General Manager – Finance, Accounts, Reporting & Consolidation will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end finance function, including accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, compliance, and internal controls. The role requires a strategic finance leader with deep expertise in Ind AS and IFRS, strong exposure to the manufacturing industry, and the ability to partner with business leadership to drive financial performance and governance.

Key Responsibilities

n

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

n

- Oversee accurate and timely preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and IFRS.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements are met.
- Maintain robust accounting processes, policies, and documentation.

2. Consolidation & Group Reporting n

- Manage consolidation of multiple entities, including domestic and international subsidiaries.
- Ensure alignment with group reporting requirements and timelines.
- Handle intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.

3. Compliance & Governance n

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, corporate policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Liaise with auditors (internal and external) and manage audit processes.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.

4. Financial Planning & Analysis n

- Provide insights into financial performance, variance analysis, and business drivers.
- Provide insights into CGU valuation and address impairment challenges
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.




- Partner with business heads to drive cost optimization and profitability.

5. Working Capital Management n

- Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
- Optimize working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory.

6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management n

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and supply chain.
- Engage with senior leadership and group finance teams.

Qualifications & Experience

n

- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- 15–20 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in Ind AS and IFRS, including financial consolidation.
- Proven experience in managing audits, compliance, and financial controls
- Experience in handling outsourcing partners for Transaction processing
- Experience in handling Procure to pay operations
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4Hana) and advanced financial tools.
