Job Profile: Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant – Procurement (P2P)

n

Location: India (Remote)

Employment Type: Full time

Shift in IST: India Shift with overlap in US Central / Eastern Time Zone (8 AM – 12 PM CST / up to 5 PM EST as required)

Preferred experience: 10+ years The Role An Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant – Procurement (P2P) will lead the design, development, and support of Oracle Fusion Procurement solutions. The role involves working closely with US-based teams to deliver end-to-end procurement transformation, combining strong technical development expertise with functional understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes.

Responsibilities:

n

· Understand business requirements and design technical specifications for Oracle Fusion Procurement (P2P) and Finance modules.

n

· Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

n

· Build and enhance reports using BI Publisher (XML, RTF templates) and OTBI.

n





· Design and maintain FBDI and ADFDI templates for data import/export and automation.

n

· Develop RICEW components (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows).

n

· Troubleshoot procurement module issues, integrations, and system performance bottlenecks.

n

· Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.

n

· Participate in requirement workshops with onsite US stakeholders and functional consultants.

n

· Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

n

· Perform data migration activities (Suppliers, Purchase Orders, Catalogs, Procurement data).

n

· Provide daily status updates and collaborate with onsite-offshore teams.

n

· Participate in Oracle quarterly updates and perform regression validation.

n

· Prepare technical documentation, knowledge transfer materials, and solution design documents.

n

· Collaborate with functional teams to convert business requirements into technical designs.

n

Must Have skills

n

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

n

· 10+ years of Oracle ERP experience (EBS and/or Fusion).

n





· 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Procurement (P2P).

n

· Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes including Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal.

n

· Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, and OTBI reporting tools.

n

· Experience with FBDI / ADFDI templates and data migration processes.

n

· Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

n

· Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion data models (tables, business objects).

n

· Experience supporting full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations.

n

· Ability to convert functional requirements into technical solutions quickly.

n

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

n

· Flexibility to work in US time zone overlap.

n

Preferred Qualification

n

· Experience in Fleet / Rental Car / Automotive domain (e.g., Enterprise, Hertz, Avis).

n

· Experience with large-scale procurement integrations and data migrations.

n

· Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.

n

· Solid understanding of Procurement business processes.
