Must-Have Skills:

4–7 years of experience in Mainframe Development




Solid hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM
Good experience with CICS for online transaction processing
Exposure to batch processing and scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, CA7)
Experience in debugging tools like Abend-AID, File-Aid
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience in Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services domain
Exposure to mainframe modernization or integration projects
Knowledge of APIs, web services, or distributed systems integration
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
