Job Description - Asst Manager / Deputy Manager Finance

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in manufacturing / plant finance preferred
- Exposure to listed company compliance is desirable
- Solid knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
- Experience with SAP / ERP systems
- Understanding of manufacturing cost structures
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes
- To manage and oversee plant financial operations, accounting controls, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and financial reporting in line with listed company standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
- Manage plant financial accounting, ensuring accuracy of books, journal entries, provisions, accruals, and timely month-end/year-end closing.
- Maintain General Ledger (GL) controls, including reconciliation, chart of accounts alignment, access control, and review of suspense or unusual entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis (budget vs actual), and profitability reports for management and corporate finance.
- Coordinate and manage statutory,



internal, cost, tax, and IFC audits, including preparation of audit schedules, documentation support, and closure of audit observations.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, listed company governance requirements, and internal financial controls (IFC).
- Monitor plant cost structures, support BOM validation, track manufacturing variances, and ensure proper inventory valuation and reconciliation.
- Manage fixed assets and capital expenditure, including asset register maintenance, capitalization, approvals, verification, and depreciation review.
- Support annual budgeting and financial planning, monitor budget vs actual performance, and provide cost control insights.
- Ensure financial data integrity in SAP/ERP, including user access control and system audit support.
- Collaborate with Plant Operations, Procurement, Corporate Finance, FSSC, and internal/external auditors to ensure efficient financial management and compliance.
