Designation : Manager Direct Tax - For Well Known Manufacturing Industry - Thane Location

Position Title : Head Direct Tax Group Company

Reporting to Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities

- Establish the strategy, policies and guidelines for direct taxation,
- Managing Day to day Accounting work up to Finalisation,
- Preparation of Financial Statement , Balance sheet Preparation, AP/AR ManagementConduct direct tax planning for each financial year
- Manage timely and accurate collation of details for income tax assessments and transfer pricing reports
- Conduct advanced tax filings and transfer pricings
- Conduct filing of income tax returns for the organisation
- Meet assessing officers and IT commissioners for pending litigations
- Seek inputs from tax consultants on tax implications for current projects, structuring and filing of corporate taxes
- Manage filing of information to banks, as required and obtaining requisite certification for the same in order to make the organization compliant to tax regulations




- Address any queries and clarifications from the auditors
- Attend meetings with Tax Assessing Officer and auditors and answer queries and clarifications raised by them
- Tackle day-to-day tax related issues Key Metrics
- Timely and accurate filing of tax
- Tax savings / effective tax rate
- 100% adherence to compliances Knowledge and Skills
- Hands on experience on SAP

Education Qualifications CA / ICWA / Diploma in Taxation are preferred Masters degree in Finance / Commerce / Business Administration would be an added advantage Experience Minimum 10 years of experience with strong experience in taxation in large organizationsStrong knowledge in Income Tax , TDS, Transfer Pricing etc.Good Communication
