About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our energetic team. In this role, you will work directly with the founders and contribute significantly to the development of production-grade agentic systems. Your primary responsibilities will include designing workflows, building full-stack product interfaces, and engineering safety guardrails that ensure the trustworthiness of autonomous agents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the cutting edge of AI and automation technology, shaping the future of autonomous organizational operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering, a passion for building reliable systems, and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges in real-world environments.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in software engineering and systems thinking, with hands-on experience in full-stack development. Proficiency in technologies such as React or Next.js for frontend, Python or Node.js for backend, and SQL/PostgreSQL for data management is essential.

Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and AI agents, particularly in structured outputs, tool calling, and evaluation, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate an ownership mindset, capable of translating ambiguity into explicit plans and actionable outputs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to defend technical decisions are crucial. A background in workflow automation, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures, along with familiarity with finance operations or compliance, will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities Build and deploy features across frontend, backend, and data layers, taking end-to-end ownership of projects.

Design and implement reliable agent workflows, including tool integration, state management, retries, and failure handling.

Create comprehensive observability frameworks such as logs, traces, audit trails, and evaluation harnesses to monitor system performance and safety.

Develop integrations and automation pipelines using APIs, webhooks, and queues to streamline operations.

Write clean, maintainable code and produce clear, detailed documentation to facilitate collaboration and future development.

Regularly demo progress, gather feedback, and iterate swiftly to enhance system robustness and functionality.
