About the Role:

Join our global IBM team as a Senior Consultant specialising in IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) technology. In this role, you'll work with a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, to enhance their ITAM operations. Based in India, you'll collaborate with our licensing teams to understand and define customer requirements, act as a technical subject matter expert, and manage the delivery of ILMT solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing, architecting, and implementing ILMT solutions using BigFix, Ansible, and disconnected scan configurations.

As an ILMT Senior Consultant, you will:

- Lead and assist with end-to-end ILMT solution design, implementation, and management of customer environments.
- Facilitate workshops with customers to gather requirements for implementing asset management programs alongside ILMT technology.
- Plan and create system architecture and implementation methodology based on unique customer environments.
- Review and assess current ILMT implementations to identify process and product improvement opportunities and provide ongoing advice to customers.
- Collaborate with customer teams to effectively manage and support their ILMT solutions.
- Provide creative solutions to address complex problems within the customer environments.
- Grow and mentor team members' knowledge and experience through leadership opportunities.

Who you are:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.




- 4+ years of consulting experience in IT Asset Management and processes.
- 4+ years of BigFix and ILMT platform experience.
- Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in a range of areas including Windows and Linux servers, LDAP, networking, security, and databases.
- An analytical mind able to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Proficiency in BigFix scripting (Action Script and Relevance) and Python to automate and support ILMT/ITAM processes.
- Experience in applying AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and problem resolution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Effective organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Champion the adoption of AI driven solutions to enhance project management delivery.
- Travel both domestically and internationally, up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with end-to-end delivery of ILMT solutions.
- Red Hat Ansible, Containerization, and IBM License Service (ILS) experience a plus.
- HCL BigFix Compliance Administrator, Platform Professional, and/or Platform Administrator.
