Job Description
To drive the collection process of receivables across multiple sources thereby reducing the total outstandingand the associated average number of days while continuing to make efforts to keep the client partnershipintact.
Major Deliverables:
Correspond with multiple sources to negotiate payment schedules that suit the customer's current financialsituation while still satisfying the debt.
Keep track of the portfolio for specific buckets for the assigned area and control the delinquency of the area,bucket-wise & DPD wise as well as focus on non-starters.
Provide productive customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process, andreview account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
Monitor and maintain customer account details for non - payments, delayed payments, and otherirregularities, making customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off,
customer reconciliationsand processing credit memos where necessary.
Ensure customer files are updated, recording times and dates that contact has been made and notinginformation that customers have received about their debt.
Trace defaulters and assets in coordination with the agency's tracing team and suggest remedial course ofaction.
Identify defaulting accounts and investigatereasons for default while continuing to make efforts to maintaina healthy relationship with the customer.
Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection processincluding supporting the collection manager (court receiver) in repossessing assets and seeking legal andpolice support where required.
Ensure compliance to all Audit / regulatory bodies as well as policies and procedures of the company.
