A **Guest Relation Executive (GRE)** in a hotel acts as a key liaison between guests and management, focused on delivering personalized service, building loyalty, and ensuring a memorable experience. They are often the first point of contact for high-profile guests (VIPs) and play a vital role in service recovery and reputation management.

- *Key Duties and Responsibilities:**
- **Guest Welcome and Farewell:** Greet arriving guests—particularly VIPs, repeat guests, and loyalty program members—with personalized attention and manage their check-in/check-out, often escorting them to their rooms.
- **VIP and Special Request Management:** Identify VIP arrivals, pre-register them, prepare welcome amenities (fruits, letters), and oversee their specific requirements, such as room preferences, transportation, and special occasions (birthdays/anniversaries).
- **Service Recovery and Complaint Resolution:** Handle guest complaints, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally, acting as a "spot point" for solving issues to turn negative experiences into positive ones.
- **Guest Engagement and Feedback:** Proactively engage with in-house guests to inquire about their comfort, conduct courtesy calls, and collect feedback at check-out to enhance service quality.




- **Information and Promotion:** Provide comprehensive information regarding hotel facilities (spa, restaurants, amenities) and local attractions, and promote, upsell, or cross-sell hotel services.
- **Departmental Coordination:** Act as a bridge between the front office and other departments such as Housekeeping, F&B;, and Maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- **Record Keeping:** Maintain detailed guest profiles, including preferences and, likes/dislikes, in the Property Management System (PMS) and record daily activities/complaints in a guest relation logbook.
- **Lobby Presence and Assistance:** Maintain an active presence in the hotel lobby to assist guests with inquiries, travel arrangements, or general assistance.
- *Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
- **Experience:** Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role,
- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English and often a second language.
- **Soft Skills:** Solid interpersonal skills, a customer-centric mindset, patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- **Appearance:** Adherence to strict grooming and hygiene standards.

nPay: From ₹15,000.00 per monthn
