- *About Job Profile**

nWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and innovative 2D/3D jewellery designs using CAD software, preparing models for prototyping and production, and ensuring high-quality, manufacturable outputs. This role requires a blend of artistic creativity and technical expertise in jewellery manufacturing processes.n
- *Key Responsibilities**

n· Create high-quality 2D and 3D CAD models for rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and custom jewellery pieces.n

· Translate sketches, concepts, and design briefs into detailed CAD designs suitable for manufacturing.

n

· Prepare CAD files for 3D printing, wax prototyping, and casting processes.

n

· Maintain a library of CAD designs and manage version control/documentation.

n

· Develop CAD models in Rhino/Matrix

n

· Ensure accurate sizing, weights, and proportions.

n

· Coordinate with production team for feasibility.

n

· Modify designs based on feedback.

n

· Maintain CAD library for reuse. Rhino, Matrix, AutoCAD, jewellery design understanding,



creativity.

n

· Design Intern To assist senior designers and gain hands-on exposure.

n

· Support CAD/design team with renderings.

n

· Create mood boards and research trends **Maintain design reference catalogues.**

n

· Learn factory-to-client design flow. Canva, Photoshop/Illustrator basics, creativity, eagerness to learn. Graduate / Student in Jewellery/Fashion Design. Intern → Junior Designer → CAD/Design Executive.

- *Qualifications & Skills**
- Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Proficiency in jewellery-specific CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix Gold, Jewel CAD, 3Design, or Z Brush).
- Strong understanding of gemstone setting, metal properties, and jewellery manufacturing techniques.
- Creative flair with an eye for detail, proportions, and aesthetics.
- Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping processes.
- Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into manufacturable jewellery pieces.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- *Preferred Experience**
- 2-5 years of experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may also apply).
- Experience in luxury, fashion, or fine jewellery industry is an added advantage.
