Senior Data Engineer – Azure Fabric & PySpark

Location: Remote (Offshore)

Job type: Full time or Contract

Shift time: 02:00 to 11:00 PM IST

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with solid expertise in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, and modern data engineering to support large-scale migration from SQL Server to Azure Fabric . The role focuses on building scalable pipelines, enabling analytics, and supporting BI and ML-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage data pipelines migrating SQL Server data to Azure Fabric
- Design scalable data models using PySpark and Delta Lake
- Optimize ETL/ELT workflows for performance and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions




- Build and support Power BI dashboards using Fabric datasets
- Integrate machine learning models into data pipelines
- Ensure data quality, governance, and lineage
- Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows

Required Skills:

- 5–8+ years in data engineering
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Platform
- Strong expertise in PySpark and Spark optimization
- Experience in SQL Server to cloud migration
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with Power BI
- Basic knowledge of ML integration (Python, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
