About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Sourcing & Procurement Intern to support our Purchase & Supply Chain team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and negotiation and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to assist in vendor coordination, procurement analysis, market research, and sourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers for production materials, components, and other procurement requirements.
- Support the team in vendor communication, negotiation, and follow-ups for quotations, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate and participate in vendor visits to evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and operational processes.
- Conduct market research to identify new vendors, cost-saving opportunities, and sourcing alternatives.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, procurement records, and purchase-related documentation.
- Assist in tracking procurement status, inventory requirements, and delivery schedules.




- Prepare and analyze procurement-related reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
- Work on analytical tasks related to vendor performance, pricing trends, and sourcing efficiency.
- Support in creating and managing dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.

Qualifications & Skills

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, and vendor management.
- Good negotiation and communication skills with confidence in interacting with vendors.
- Willingness to travel for vendor visits and supplier meetings when required.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI, dashboards, or data visualization tools.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a dynamic work environment.
