Job Title: GCP Senior Associate – Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a GCP Senior Associate Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable,

cloudnative data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on building

reliable data pipelines and analytics platforms to support enterprise and

banking/financial services use cases. You will work closely with architects, analysts, and

client stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient data engineering

solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP using cloudnative

services.

Build and optimize data warehouses and analytics solutions using BigQuery.

Develop batch and streaming pipelines using Apache Spark, Apache Beam, and

related frameworks.

Implement workflow orchestration and scheduling using Apache Airflow.

Ensure data quality, reliability, security,



and performance in line with enterprise

and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support analytics, reporting, and

downstream consumption.

Apply DevOps and CI/CD best practices for data engineering workloads.

Required Skills & Experience

Robust handson experience with GCP, especially BigQuery.

Proficiency in Apache Spark, Apache Beam, and Airflow.

Solid experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for largescale data processing.

Robust programming skills in Python.

Experience working in banking or financial services environments (preferred).

Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance concepts.

Nice to Have

GCPrelevant certifications (e.g., Qualified Data Engineer).

Experience with streaming data and realtime analytics.

Exposure to CI/CD, IaC, and cloud cost optimization.
