Job Description - Asst Manager / Deputy Manager Finance
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience
Experience in manufacturing / plant finance preferred
Exposure to listed company compliance is desirable
Solid knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
Experience with SAP / ERP systems
Understanding of manufacturing cost structures
Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes
To manage and oversee plant financial operations, accounting controls, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and financial reporting in line with listed company standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
Manage plant financial accounting, ensuring accuracy of books, journal entries, provisions, accruals, and timely month-end/year-end closing.
Maintain General Ledger (GL) controls, including reconciliation, chart of accounts alignment, access control, and review of suspense or unusual entries.
Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis (budget vs actual), and profitability reports for management and corporate finance.
Coordinate and manage statutory,



internal, cost, tax, and IFC audits, including preparation of audit schedules, documentation support, and closure of audit observations.
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, listed company governance requirements, and internal financial controls (IFC).
Monitor plant cost structures, support BOM validation, track manufacturing variances, and ensure proper inventory valuation and reconciliation.
Manage fixed assets and capital expenditure, including asset register maintenance, capitalization, approvals, verification, and depreciation review.
Support annual budgeting and financial planning, monitor budget vs actual performance, and provide cost control insights.
Ensure financial data integrity in SAP/ERP, including user access control and system audit support.
Collaborate with Plant Operations, Procurement, Corporate Finance, FSSC, and internal/external auditors to ensure productive financial management and compliance.
