About the Company We are seeking an experienced and governance-focused Head – Accounts to lead the accounting function of a listed manufacturing organization. The role carries end-to-end responsibility for accounting operations, supervision of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset Accounting, Inventory, GST, statutory and internal audits, regulatory compliance, and strengthening of financial controls. The incumbent will ensure timely and accurate financial closures. Responsibilities Periodic Financial Closing & Reporting Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing of books. Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, SEBI (LODR) requirements, and internal accounting policies.



Review and validate standalone and consolidated financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and transparency. Support timely submission of financial results to senior management and the Board. Ledger Scrutiny & Accounting Entry Approval Conduct periodic scrutiny of general ledgers and sub-ledgers. Ensure all accounting corrections, provisions, accruals, and adjustments are completed prior to period closure. Act as the approving authority for accounting entries in SAP, including journal entries, provisions, accruals, and adjustments. Ensure proper documentation, audit trail, and compliance for all postings. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements. Accounting Supervision Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) operations including vendor accounting, invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and internal controls.
