Role: Digital Engineering & AI Competency Head (India)

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad, India

Practice Scope:

Digital Engineering (cloud-native apps, platform engineering, DevSecOps) + AI (GenAI, Copilot & AI Agents, analytics, MLOps)

Role Summary

You will build and lead the India hub of our Digital Engineering & AI competency—owning offerings, delivery assurance, presales, capability building, and partner-aligned GTM. You’ll scale a multidisciplinary CoE, and deliver measurable revenue, margin, pipeline, and competency outcomes.

Key Outcomes (First 12 months)

Offerings & Accelerators: Publish and execute a competency roadmap with accelerators across agentic AI maturity levels—from rule‑based automation to autonomous workflows.

Financial/KRA Targets: Hit quarterly objectives across Revenue & Margin, OB (order bookings), GTM/Partner-aligned pipeline, Offerings/Accelerators, Capability/Training, Delivery Assurance, Resourcing/Billability.

GTM & Partnerships: Launch partner‑aligned GTM motions for Copilot/AI Agents and Digital Engineering, with measurable campaign → pipeline conversion.

Delivery Assurance & Risk: Embed secure development lifecycle, data privacy, and compliance controls across engagements.

Responsibilities

Practice & Governance

- Establish and chair AI program governance (e.g., Steering Committee / Governance Council) and implement Responsible AI policy, model usage guidelines, and lifecycle management.
- Define the GenAI CoE operating model (consulting workshops, use‑case intake/prioritization, setting setup, pilot, agent ops/observability, benefits realization).

Offerings, IP & Accelerators

- Own Digital Engineering & AI offerings (cloud‑native, platform engineering, agentic AI, data modernization) and publish accelerator roadmap aligned to Agentic AI maturity patterns.

GTM, Presales & Growth

- Partner with sales/GPO and hyperscaler GTMs to create differentiated collateral, campaigns, and presales motions for Copilot/AI Agents and Digital Engineering; drive win‑rates in large deals.




- Shape solutions for modernization to “AI‑first enterprise” (e.g., autonomous ERP/CRM, contact center modernization) and annuity managed services models.

Delivery Excellence & Compliance

- Institutionalize secure development policy and data privacy controls across delivery; ensure DevSecOps and privacy‑by‑design in AI solutions.
- Govern delivery escalations, quality gates, agent reliability/guardrails, and risk management for AI-enabled programs.

People, Capability & Resourcing

- Build a multidisciplinary team (engineering, data/AI, BA, RPA/workflow, cloud) and a curated learning journey; drive SME development, certifications, rotations, and bench productivity.
- Own resourcing/billability plans, staffing models, and career ladders aligned to competency KRAs.

Required Qualifications

- 15+ years in software/product/digital engineering with 7+ years leading practices or large multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Proven delivery + presales leadership across cloud (Azure/AWS), microservices/API, DevSecOps, and MLOps at enterprise scale.
- Hands‑on experience designing/operating agentic AI solutions or Copilot/AI Agents programs with clear governance and benefits realization.
- Demonstrated success meeting Revenue/Margin/OB/Pipeline targets while growing capability and IP.
- Strong stakeholder management; ability to collaborate with partner GTM teams and lead large deal pursuits.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in building accelerators/IP for data & AI and cloud-native engineering; familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks.
