Role Overview

This is a high-exposure, high-ownership role crafted for an aspirational lawyer who wants to apply their legal learning in real business environments and grow into a well-rounded in-house counsel.

You will work across contracts, compliance, retail operations, corporate projects, and early-stage M&A; initiatives. The role gives you the runway to showcase your drafting capabilities, commercial understanding, problem-solving, and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

Contracting & Commercial Documentation

- Draft and review vendor agreements, NDAs, supply & logistics contracts, influencer agreements, and service agreements.
- Support leasing documentation, renewals, and execution workflows.

Retail & Operational Legal Support

- Support store onboarding documentation, mall compliance, and retail-specific legal needs.

Compliance & Governance

- Maintain and update trackers for contracts, compliance deadlines, renewals, and licenses.
- Assist in building internal legal SOPs and strengthening audit readiness.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Projects





- Assist with early-stage M&A; documentation, due diligence, and data room preparation.
- Coordinate with external counsel and senior internal stakeholders.

Research & Risk Identification

- Conduct research on contract law, retail regulations, consumer protection, IP, Companies Act, and M&A; frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Founders Office, Finance, HR, Operations, Procurement, and Marketing teams to support business decisions with legal insight.

What You’ll Bring

- LLB is mandatory; LLM is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in corporate law firms or in-house roles in retail, FMCG, or consumer brands.
- Strong drafting skills, commercial understanding, and deep interest in applied business law.
- Exposure to M&A; fundamentals is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a detail-driven work style.
