Role Overview The Senior Associate MEL will play a key role in strengthening Madhis monitoring and impact evaluation.

The role involves designing and executing research, impact evaluations, and pilots that generate actionable insights to inform program design and contribute to policy advocacy.

The Senior Associate will work closely with internal teams, external research partners, and field teams to create a culture of innovation, rigour and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities 1.

Evaluation Design & Implementation Co-design and support execution of quasi-experimental studies, and implementation of research.

Develop research frameworks (ToCs, Log frames etc) and tools, aligned with program goals.

Design and implement research data collection methods such as FGDs, IDIs, surveys, and mixed-method evaluations.

Manage data collection processes, including enumerator training, field monitoring, and data quality assurance.

Data Analysis & Insight Generation Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using relevant processes data cleaning, organizing, and statistical methods.

Synthesize findings into insights, and reports for diverse audiences.

Create data visualizations and write reports to share with program teams.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate with program teams to ensure timely data collection across different teams.

Travel to program locations,



when required, to support and facilitate field-level data collection (within and outside of Tamil Nadu).

Actively participate in organizational meetings and contribute to strengthening M&E; structures.

Key Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in education, Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, or related disciplines.

Experience: 46 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation related roles, ideally within the education or development sector.

Working knowledge of data collection tools including Kobo Toolbox, and Microsoft Forms.

Solid proficiency in data analysis (Stata/R/Python/Excel) Strong proficiency in creating presentations and working with Microsoft Office.

Exposure to data visualization platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.

Display high attention to detail and excellence in work.
