Job Title: Senior Migration Consultant
Location: Kochi, India
Department: Study Abroad / Admissions
Reports To: Senior Counsellor / Branch Manager
Job Overview:
The Senior Migration Consultant will be responsible for guiding students through the process of choosing appropriate study destinations, courses, and institutions abroad. The role involves handling inquiries, conducting counselling sessions, maintaining student records, and ensuring a smooth application and admission process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students regarding study options in New Zealand, Europe, and other destinations.
- Evaluate students’ academic background, financial capabilities, and career goals to recommend suitable programs and institutions.
- Assist students in preparing and submitting admission applications, visa documentation, and other required materials.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and educational institutions.
- Stay updated on international nurses education systems, admission timelines, and visa regulations.
- Should have strong knowledge of OSCE, CGFNS processes, DHA, HAAD,
Prometric exams, AHPRA, and ANMAC requirements
- Provide professional counselling and guidance to nurses regarding overseas career opportunities, particularly in New Zealand
- Manage and support candidates through the end-to-end New Zealand migration process and nursing career pathways
- Assist candidates in understanding licensing procedures, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements
- Offer continuous follow-up and support to ensure successful completion of each stage of the migration and registration process
- Maintain records and reports in CRM and ensure timely follow-up of leads.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams for student recruitment activities.
- Ensure all counselling activities adhere to company standards and compliance guidelines.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in overseas education or migration consultancy
- Prior experience in nurses migration counselling is highly preferred
- Proven track record in counselling, lead conversion, and visa success
Key Skills:
- Strong convincing and persuasion skills
- Expertise in nurses counselling and career guidance
- In-depth knowledge of nursing career programs and international pathways
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess candidate profiles and recommend suitable programs

Technical & Functional Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand nursing migration pathways and processes
- Familiarity with New Zealand Nursing Council (NCNZ) requirements,
CAP program, and registration process
- Understanding of New Zealand visa categories, documentation, and compliance
- Good knowledge of IELTS/OET requirements for nurses
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and case tracking systems
Core Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Provide professional counselling to nurses regarding overseas career opportunities in New Zealand
- Handle telecalling and follow-ups to convert leads into enrollments
- Catch up and manage leads effectively from various sources
- Conduct outdoor presentations, seminars, and awareness sessions
- Guide candidates through end-to-end New Zealand migration and nursing career programs
- Maintain regular communication and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal teams and achieve assigned targets

Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year experience in overseas education counselling or a related field.
- Additional certification in overseas education/migration is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales orientation and ability to meet targets.
- Knowledge of New Zealand and European study visa processes will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
