Must‑Have Skills:

- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Robust hands‑on experience with Azure (ADF, Databricks, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Data Lake)
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and Excel
- Experience working with R&D; / Laboratory data or LIMS systems
- Experience handling unstructured data from multiple sources
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

- Transform unstructured R&D; and laboratory data into standardized, approved structured platforms
- Design & maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines (batch & real‑time)
- Build and optimize Azure data lakes, warehouses, and infrastructure
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, vendors, and R&D; scientists
- Enable smart laboratory operations by connecting siloed data sources
- Support data governance, security, and compliance across global R&D; labs

Nice‑to‑Have

- Background in Manufacturing, Chemical, Energy, or Industrial R&D;
- Power BI / Power Apps or Web UI experience
