As a Senior Associate in Financial Planning & Analysis at BNY, you will play a vital role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and conducting deep dive analysis in allocations. Your responsibilities will include:- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and deep dive analysis in allocations.- Providing monthly and quarterly analysis on allocations, understanding headcount, compensation, and non-compensation expenses variances.- Understanding and maintaining different allocation rules and methodologies for certain lines of business.- Providing detailed variance commentary for allocations considering various scenarios.To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:- Bachelors degree in a financial discipline such as accounting, finance, statistics, or economics; MBA or equivalent is preferred.- Professional qualifications like CA, CMA, or equivalent certification would be advantageous.- 6 or more years of experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting, cost allocations, and financial analysis.- Solid communication skills, both written and oral.- Self-starter with the ability to drive change independently.- Analytical mindset with the capability to delve into intricate details on allocations.- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.- Confident and calm demeanor with the ability to perform under pressure.- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).- Proficiency with reporting tools like MAQ, Cognos,
