As an Information Security Leader, you will be responsible for handling business information security standards and system level controls such as firewalls, ACL, and data security to protect information stored in design endpoints, computers, and servers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding client information security standards and requirements by studying and reviewing them in-depth with the security and IT team.
- Designing network, system, and application security architectures with good knowledge and experience.
- Conducting security reviews, performing vulnerability assessments, recommending remediation actions, and managing security policies and access controls to monitor, protect, and govern data and applications.
- Having a thorough understanding of system level controls like firewalls, ACL, and data security measures to protect information effectively.
- Performing advanced verification and investigations from logs and monitoring activities.
- Handling escalations from clients and providing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Keeping knowledge updated about OS vulnerability patches.
- Working within large cross-cultural teams and using tools for setting analysis, port scanning, vulnerability assessment, and incident response investigations.
- Participating in projects, IT security or customer audit activities, and mentoring and educating security staff members.
- Demonstrating commitment to customer service by solving problems quickly and effectively and making customer issues a priority.
- Being willing to work on weekends based on client and business requirements and conferring with reporting manager on complex situations.
- Exchanging knowledge with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared.
- Maintaining discretion and confidentiality in all areas related to IT systems, data, and proprietary information.
- Understanding and aligning with the business and IT strategic direction.
Knowledge requirements for this role include the ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from various stakeholders, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. You should also have advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil's software packages, and be fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking. Additionally, you should be proficient in PowerPoint presentations and Excel work.
Educational qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or equivalent experience.
