Title: Ruby on Rails Lead

Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead in Ruby on Rails) who is hands-on and can also guide a small team. You’ll be responsible for designing scalable systems, mentoring developers, and contributing to core platform development.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design discussions for new features
- Develop scalable applications and APIs (REST / GraphQL)
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Mentor team members and support onboarding
- Troubleshoot complex issues and improve system performance
- Collaborate with product and leadership teams
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- Robust hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, React (or similar stack)
- Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and design patterns
- Experience in full-stack development and API design
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Cloud (AWS/Azure)
Requirements
- Ability to work in Eastern Time Zone (ET)
- Experience working in remote/distributed teams
