- *Purpose of the Job**
- Performing physical inspection activity at supplier end to minimize material delivered from our suppliers with unidentified and/or uncleared non-conformances.
- *Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- To perform physical inspection dimension, Visual and NDT in 3 stages (casting, pre-machined and Final)
- Willing to travel within India.
- Maintaining records as assigned
- All other duties as assigned.

nGood knowledge of QM/QA/QC regulations, processes, proceduresn

Very positive drawing reading and understanding ability.

Sound knowledge on visual inspection.

Performing physical Inspection activity as per the PO, PS, QAP, etc. at supplier end

Hands on experience in using the different types of inspection aids and measuring instruments.

- Technical school certificate or Diploma in engineering
- Understanding technical drawings & documents
- NDT Level II qualified in RT, LPI, MPI & VI
- Validated good eyesight.
- Very good English skills
- Preferably: local language skills
- *Experience**
- At least 3 years relevant experience
- Very good understanding of technical drawings & documents
- Very valuable pump product knowledge
- Very good dimensional, visual and cert inspection skills

nEnsure inspected components are well within the limits of Sulzer standard acceptance requirementsn

nVisit / travel planning based on requirements within at source inspection concept guidelinen

- NCR quantity Vs. Number of components shipped by the suppliers.
- Number of inspection call attended at suppliers against number inspection calls arranged.
- Improvement in supplier’s inspection methods 2 or 3 per year.
