Job Summary
nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to oversee the financial operations of our retail outlet in Kanchipuram. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in high-value transactions characteristic of the gold and apparel industry. You will be responsible for maintaining ledger integrity, tax compliance (GST), and financial reporting.n

nAccounting & Ledger Managementn
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts using Tally Prime or ERP software.

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments to vendors and collection from corporate clients.
n
Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify cash-on-hand against retail POS reports.
n
- Inventory & Asset Accounting
nReconcile physical stock (Gold, Silver, and Apparels) with system records on a weekly/monthly basis.n
Monitor "Old Gold" exchange transactions and ensure proper accounting for melting losses or purity adjustments.

Track departmental sales margins and discount allocations.

nCompliance & Taxationn
Ensure 100% compliance with GST regulations, including E-way bill generation and filing of monthly returns (GSTR-1, 3B).

Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations, deposits, and quarterly filings.

Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

- Reporting & Payroll
nPrepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements and Balance Sheets for the outlet.n
Manage staff payroll, including PF, ESI, and incentive calculations for the sales team.

Provide MIS reports to management regarding daily sales trends and expense leakages.

- *Preferred candidate profile**
nEducation: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or MBA in Finance.n
Experience: Minimum 3 years of core accounting experience, preferably in the retail or jewellery sector.
n
Software: Expert-level proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
n
Language: Fluency in Tamil and functional English is essential for local vendor coordination and reporting.
