Job Description: Cybersecurity Intern (VAPT & Automation)

We are looking for a passionate and curious Cybersecurity Intern to join our security team. In this role, you will work on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within real-world environments, gaining hands-on experience in penetration testing and security automation.

Responsibilities

- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular scans of web applications, networks, and systems to identify potential security flaws.
- Penetration Testing: Perform ethical hacking to validate vulnerabilities and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Scripting & Automation: Utilize Bash and Python to automate repetitive security tasks and develop custom exploits.
- Technical Reporting: Create detailed reports documenting identified vulnerabilities, risk levels, and clear remediation steps.
- Security Research: Stay updated on the latest security threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and emerging hacking tools.

Qualifications

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Networking basics (TCP/IP, OSI Model),



OWASP Top 10, and Linux environments.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Bash scripting and command-line operations.
- Security Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, and Nessus.
- Education: Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity.
- Soft Skills: Solid analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and a hunger to learn new security frameworks.
- Certifications (Preferred): Basic knowledge or certifications like eJPT, CEH, or similar are a plus.
